The Malt Advocate awarded The Macphail’s Collection as their “Best Buy Whisky of the Year”. You can check out the review here. The Collection includes, Tamdhu 8yr, Highland Park 8yr, Bunnahabhain 8yr, and Glenrothes 8yr. I got all of them except for the Glenrothes. I wanted the Glenrothes, but my distributor didn’t get any. Regardless, I’m going to feature the ones I did get.
Now, here’s the deal. These whiskies were very hard to get and I only got a few cases of each. Whenever this happens, it’s very hard to control the orders that come in. The internet orders aren’t the problem. It’s the phone orders that cause the most havoc. As a result, this is an INTERNET ONLY DEAL. Phone orders will not be honored. Sorry.
