Angels Envy Bourbon Whiskey has been available in limited markets for about a year. Unfortunately, my state of NJ was not one of them. That is until now. I just got word from my distributor that they will be carry Angels Envy and it will be arriving by the end of January. Since I already know supply will be an issue, I’ve decided to do a Pre-Sale on it.
Angels Envy is the first bourbon that I know of to be finished in Port wine barrels. I’m always a little skeptical when a new company does a finish because I think the whiskey might be a little rough and they are trying to soften it up. Not the case in Angels Envy. In my opinion, the Port finish enhances the whiskey without overpowering it. The Whisky Advocate rated it 93pts, which says a lot for a new company. They list a retail price of $46/bottle, but I’m going to put it on sale for $38.99/bottle. The sooner I get the orders the sooner I can make sure my cases are locked in with the distributor, so please order soon.
