I just made a MAJOR deal on an every last case of 120 y.o. vine Spanish Tempranillo from Toro, the 2005 Bodegas Matarredonda Libranza. Upon release, the 2005 Libranza went for $50+/bottle, but today it is $23.95/bottle-52% OFF!

I tasted this wine — Know Caymus? This wine’s more complex! Familiar with the famed Bordeaux, Chateau Lynch-Bages, Pauillac? – the Libranza’s classier structure has gotten it beat! This is a Tour de Force of a wine that scored 92 pts with Jay Miller for its profound ‘aromatics and concentration’, and 91 pts with Josh Raynolds (Tanzer) for its ‘broad, deep, palate-staining dark fruit’.

My point: THIS is the kind of wine you NEED in your cellar, drinking now AND in prime drinking condition for the next 8-12 years! At 52% Off and with only 18 six packs remaining, this wine will disappear. ACT NOW.

Last year I featured a one-shot deal on the 2009 Josh Carr Cabernet Sauvignon. Entitled a ‘Sommelier’s Dream Cab’, this wine sold out in minutes at the $10 price tag. This morning, I learned there is a time-limited, one-shot price break coming back in February, bringing the original price of $9.99 back.

Remember, this is the SAME WINE coming from Tuck Beckstoffer’s Amber Knolls Vineyard, that’s Red Hills country, aka the Mayacamas Mountains, famous the world over for their Cabernet Sauvignon.

Simply put, this is the best $10 Cabernet I tasted last year, period! Big Words, I know, BUT since the regular price is $16/bottle, today’s sub-$10 price tag (38% OFF) is a NO-BRAINER!!!

THIS IS A PRE-SELL, and the wine is expected in the second week of February. This is a multi-case buy if ever I saw one, act now on this deal-inventory will be first come-first serve! Cheers!

The packaging for Krugy Vanilla Caramel Liqueur is pretty obvious. I’m not going to come straight out and say it, but it is what you think it is. Now, I brought Krugy in as a joke to sell in-store. I then posted a picture of it on our Facebook page and immediately started getting emails of people wanting to buy it. Since I’m not one to turn down a sale, we will now be selling them online.

So, the Krugy comes in a canister of (8) 50ml’s. I will be putting it on sale for $29.99/canister. I think this is the perfect item for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, gag gifts or wedding favors. Ok, I may be stretching it with wedding favors, but you see where I’m going with it.

Some craft breweries breweries, like Sixpoint and Avery, are making the move to cans, but Oskar Blues has never sold any of their beers in bottles. For years now they have exclusively offered cans. Oskar Blues has been available for a good amount of time and they only use the best ingedients and make uncompromising small-batch version of the beers that you’ll ever see on the market.

Mama’s Little Yella Pils is not like any mass marketed “pilsner” diluted with corn & rice! Mama’s is built with 100% pale malt, German specialty malts, and Bavarian hops. It received awards from the New York Times for “Top 10 Pilsners”. It also took home the Gold Medal in 2009 from the World Beer Championship. Even the Beverage Tasting Institute gave it a 92-point rating. Usually you’ll see this beer retailing anywhere from $35 to $38/case. Well ladies and gentleman I’m throwing this beer on sale for $29.99/case. STOCK UP! I’m running out and this deal is only available while supplies last!!!

I’ve shaken enough trees and have discovered an UNREAL DEAL on Chateau Pavie’s 2004 Chateau Sainte Colombe, their KILLER PROPERTY in the Cotes de Castillon. Chateau Pavie is THE SENSATIONAL Right Bank producer, WORSHIPPED by Robert Parker, and makes massively structured $300/btl, 98-100 Point Bordeaux!!!

Today’s offer hails from Pavie’s stunning vineyards in the Cotes de Castillon under the Chateau Sainte Colombe label, and while it regularly goes for $21/btl, I am GOING FOR THE KILL, offered at 52% OFF, for $9.99/btl! Check out this review, “Aromas of licorice, violet, minerals and toffee. Juicy, bright and floral, with moderate density but an attractively rich texture and very good cut. Finishes aromatic and persistent, with building tannins.”-Stephen Tanzer 87-90 points!

Most wine merchants will think I’m crazy to rock this deal, but listen up, you’re getting 52% OFF Chateau Pavie’s Chateau Sainte Colombe for $9.99/bottle! Just like my previous offer on Chateau Blouin, Brian and I tasted and selected this wine from more than 40 different producers, so the time to ACT is NOW!!!

The owners of Depaz Blue Cane Rhum Agricole have discontinued this item. If you remember, we featured a close-out price in the beginning of December. Well, I’m going to drop the price again. For an undetermined amount of time, I will be featuring Depaz for $16.99/bottle. Considering this rhum originally retailed for over $40/bottle I think you are getting a GREATER deal on an already GREAT deal. There is no real reason for this. I just thought it would spark some sales. Enjoy!

Here’s the funny thing about distributors and product reps. They THINK they know about retail, but in reality they have NO CONCEPT about selling to consumers. Some of the dumbest stuff I’ve ever heard has come out of these people’s mouths. And of course I have to call them on it, but instead of them admitting I’m right (which I usually am) they just call me an “a$@hole”.

The biggest issue I’ve had recently is with Limited Edition items. I have no problem with Limited Editions, but when a distillery releases ten LE’s in a year it has a tendency to dilute the concept. The more you do the harder they become to sell. Before the release the distributor or rep is strutting their feathers acting like they are doing you a favor by giving you a few cases, but they come to you with their tails between their legs when sales doesn’t meet expectations and they have a surplus of cases they need to move. That’s what happened with today’s deal: Woodford Reserve Masters Collection Rare Rye Whiskey Selection.

Let me start off by saying this. I like the guy that handles this brand. He’s one of the few people I think understands the marketplace. However, I think he misjudged the legs of this product. It was a great concept that I think fell short because of price and a down economy. Hey, it happens. Before it was released I was told I was only going to get five cases, which is a bit of a slap in the face. Now I’m being asked to take as many as I can. In a case such as this I would go for the jugular, but since I like this particular guy I took it easy on him. See, even I have a heart every now and again. We sell this item for $99.99/bottle, but I’ve seen it for as much as $120/bottle. I will be putting it on sale for $79.99/bottle. I’m not sure how many cases my distributor has, but this is the kind of deal you want to jump on.
