Right off the bat, I’m going to warn you that you’ll want to jump on this deal quickly because I’m going to offer you a highly rated wine for basically my wholesale cost.

I have a surplus of the 2009 Fattoria Carpineta Fontalpino Chianti Classico Castelnuovo Berardenga. Why is there a surplus? Because someone brought it in and wasn’t smart enough or good enough to sell what they bought. I find this odd because we sell A LOT of Italian wines here and it was rated 92pts by the Wine Spectator. Truthfully, it should have sold by accident. It only goes to show you that any idiot can buy something, but you have to have some talent to sell it. Here’s the review:

“An expression of darker fruit, this red remains fresh and defined by violet, black cherry and spice notes. Polished, but still marked by dense, edgy tannins, matched by sweet fruit on the finish. Best from 2013 through 2020. 600 cases imported.”

Fontalpino retails for about $22.99/bottle, but I’m going to drop it to $16.99/bottle, which is basically my wholesale cost. Once I sell my remaining cases I’m sure I won’t be carrying it anymore, even though the wine is great. Don’t worry, though. I’m sure we will replace it with something even better. If you bought Monsanto then you should buy Fontalpino!
